but i can't do some actions by my shelf. because i am only a club member.
there are some big international kite festivals in Turkey. I am sure if some festival owners receive information about you they will be glad to invite you. I will work on this subject.

Dear Turkish kitefliers,
I'm so sorry, but we can't come to the festival in Istanbul !
Because of the unsure situation with the bomb attacks in Antalya, Marmaris and in Istanbul, we decided not to fly at the moment !
We know the attacks are mainly in the tourist areas, but the travel agency says 'Turkey is not a safe country at the moment '.
It's so sad, but we feel really afraid. We hope, peaceful times will come again and we also hope that we can visit you and your country later !

I'm not agree with you Bernhard. My opinion is this is wrong decision. Turkey is safety country. Also as you know there were some bomb attacks in Europe last years. Did you give up living in Europe?
This festival able to be very big change meet us each order and we will miss it. I am in disappointmed.

But in this current time my and my friends family are so afraid, it's not possible to do the trip ! Beleave me, I feel so sad about that !

Hi Bernhard,

I want to say smthg about this subject. First, terorists want to this. I think, you aprooved them with this desicion. And you must be sure that they will do same think for your country in the future...

On the other hand i can understant you. You want to save your life. But you belive me Turkiye is a completely safe country as Germany.

As last, sometimes, to say truth may hurt somebody. You could find different excuse. Especially in this peacefull kite forum.

I'm agree with Ahmet. This is only propaganda. Last year 790 people killed in the world by Toasting machine (with electric shock) And Approximately 12 people are killed each year in kiting accidents throughout the world.

Amerika ve Avrupada "korku ulusu" denilen yönetim şekli son 50 yıldır hakim durumda. Ve yönetmenin en kolay şekli buyken ve tüm halklar bu şekilde şartlanmışken sanırım kimsenin fikrini değiştiremeyiz. Yukarıda anlatmaya çalıştım umarım başarabilmişimdir, korkmak için okadar çok sebep var ki, eğer birisi size "şundan kork" diyorsa bunun tek sebebi onun bir çıkarı olmasıdır. Ne yapalım bu işler batıda böyle yürüyor. İrandaki festivale katılım olmamasının sebebi de bizim onları adam kesen teröristler sanıyor olmamız sanırım. Gerçi Ferruh başka bir konuya dikkat çekmişti "irana vize alırsan bir daha hiçbir ülke vize vermiyor" diyerek, yani farketmeden bizi de etkiliyor bu tür şeyler.

Gene harika konuştun Melih. Ben İran'a gitmeye baya bir niyetlenmiştim. Hatta 2 dk. önce festival komitesi başkanı Dr.Vaihd'den yeni bir mail daha aldım. Bence son derece sevimli insanlar. Uçak hariç tüm masrafları çekiyorlar yeterki gelin diyorlar. Daha ne yapsınlar. Ama biz gitmiyoruz. Orta doğu olaylarının etkisi büyük. Biz de Bernhard'ın yaptığını yapıyoruz.

Bu gün gazetelere baktım. İngiltere basını dünkü patlamaları büyük manşetten vermiş. Bernhard'ın bana yazdığı özel mesajdan da anladığım kadarıyla Alman seyahat acentaları "mecbur değilseniz gitmeyin güvenlik yok" diyormuş. Ama ben gene de bir nebze kızgınım. Türkiye iran değil. 2 gün önce formula yarışlarındaydım. Dünyanın her yerinden insanlar vardı. Kimseye de bir şey olmadı. Son derece de güzel bir gündü. 2 hafta sonra monza'da yapılacak yarışlarda insanlar ne kadar tehlike altında ise istabul'da da o kadar tehdit altındadır.

Yani ne desem bilemiyorum. Bernhard'ın gelmesini çok istemiştim. Sağlık olsun.
